On Tuesday, April 25, I had the opportunity to tell my story, the story of God in my life, and how that story fits into my daughter, Katelyn, and me being at All Saint’s. I tell the story of accepting Christ in a “barn” outside of Columbus, Ohio, to meeting Maureen, to our 11 years as she faced breast cancer, and then the devastating loss of my bride of 25 years, while figuring out how to move ahead and parent a 15, 13, and 10 1/2 year old as a single dad. It wasn’t until Christmas Eve 2021 when we worshipped at All Saint’s as a family that I realized “I was doing God but God wasn’t doing me.” And, it’s the story of the “little” girl, Katelyn, with whom Maureen was pregnant when diagnosed in late 2003 finding her faith, as I recommitted to my own.
The Men’s Ministry at All Saint’s Presbyterian Church seeks to support men in our calling to be servant leaders in our workplaces, families, neighborhoods and the church. We build community through small groups, fellowship gatherings, service and prayer. We seek to know and worship God, and encourage each other to follow Jesus with courage and faith.
